FAQ

Questions, answered straight

The things people actually ask before working with an agency, including the awkward ones.

General questions

What exactly does FREELANZAA do?

We are a digital marketing and creative agency offering seven services: web design, SEO, social media management, paid advertising, video editing, graphic design and campaign management. You can take any one of them individually, or have us run several to a single strategy.

Where are you based, and do you work internationally?

We are based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. We work with clients across Asia, Europe and further afield, almost entirely remotely, and we adapt to your working hours for calls and reviews.

What size and type of business do you work with?

Startups, small and medium businesses, growing companies, established brands and entrepreneurs, across a range of industries. We are not restricted to one niche. What matters more is whether you have something worth marketing and a clear sense of what growth would mean for you.

Do I have to buy all your services together?

No. Most clients start with one thing — often a website, SEO or advertising. The benefit of everything being under one roof is that when you do add a channel, it is built by a team that already understands your business.

How much do you charge?

It depends entirely on scope, so we quote per project rather than publishing prices that would be misleading. Tell us what you want to achieve and we will give you a clear, itemised proposal with nothing hidden in it.

How do projects usually start?

Send us an enquiry through the contact form or WhatsApp with a short description of your business and what you want to improve. We will read it, look at your current site and channels, and reply with an initial view. If it looks like a fit, we arrange a proper conversation to scope the work.

Can you guarantee results?

No, and we would treat any agency that does with caution. Search engines do not sell rankings and ad platforms do not sell outcomes. What we commit to is doing the work that genuinely drives results, measuring it properly, and reporting honestly on what happened.

Who owns the accounts, domains and files?

You do. Ad accounts, analytics, domains, hosting and the assets we produce belong to you. We work inside your accounts rather than holding them. If we ever stop working together, you keep everything, including the historical data.

How long does a typical project take?

A focused business website is usually a matter of weeks. SEO is measured in months. Advertising can start producing traffic within days but takes longer to become efficient. We give you a realistic timeline once we understand the scope, and we would rather set a slower honest date than a fast one we miss.

How do you report on the work?

With regular reporting in plain language, showing what was done, what the numbers did, and what we are changing next. We report against the objectives agreed at the start rather than picking whichever metric happens to look good.

Why is your portfolio empty?

Because we will not publish work we cannot properly attribute. Client projects are being packaged into full case studies and each will be published only once the client has approved both the work shown and any figures quoted. We would rather show nothing than borrow logos or invent metrics.

Can you take over work another agency started?

Yes, and it is common. We would start by reviewing what exists — the site, the campaigns, the tracking — and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing, restructuring or rebuilding. Sometimes the answer is that less needs changing than you expect.

Web Design

How long does a website project take?

It depends on scope, page count and how quickly content and feedback come back. A focused business site is usually a matter of weeks rather than months. We give you a realistic timeline after the first conversation, once we understand what the site actually needs to do.

Do you build on WordPress or custom code?

We choose the platform after understanding your requirements, not before. What matters is that the result is fast, secure, easy for your team to update and straightforward to extend. We will explain the trade-offs of the options and recommend one.

Can you redesign our existing site instead of starting over?

Often, yes. We look at what is already working, what is costing you enquiries and what is worth keeping. Sometimes a targeted redesign of key pages is the better investment; sometimes the underlying structure is the problem. We will tell you honestly which one applies.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. We set the site up so routine content changes such as text, images, blog posts and new pages can be handled by your team, and we walk you through it at handover.

Do you handle hosting and domains?

We can advise on hosting, set up the deployment and get everything configured correctly. You keep ownership of your domain and hosting accounts, which is how it should be.

SEO

How long does SEO take to show results?

Meaningful movement usually takes months rather than weeks, and it depends on competition, the current state of the site and how much authority it already has. Technical fixes can show up relatively quickly; competitive rankings take longer. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is not being straight with you.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and we would be cautious of anyone who does. Search engines do not sell or guarantee positions. What we can commit to is doing the work that genuinely drives rankings, and reporting honestly on the results.

Do we need SEO if we already run paid ads?

They do different jobs. Paid gets you visibility immediately and stops when the budget stops. SEO takes longer to build but keeps working. Most businesses benefit from both, and they strengthen each other, since better pages improve ad quality and conversion too.

What if our website is old or badly built?

We will tell you honestly. Sometimes the fastest route to search performance is fixing the site rather than adding content to a broken foundation. If that is the case, we will say so rather than bill for work that cannot succeed.

Do you write the content as well?

Yes. We can handle strategy only, or research, write and publish the content. Either way you will know what is being created and why.

Social Media

Which platforms do you manage?

We recommend platforms based on where your audience actually is and what your business sells, rather than defaulting to all of them. For most businesses that means focusing properly on a small number rather than spreading thin across many.

How many posts per month do we get?

It depends on the platform, format and what your goals require. We agree the volume and mix up front so it is clear, and we would rather produce fewer strong posts than fill a calendar with weak ones.

Do you create the content or do we supply it?

We create it. Graphics, video edits, copy and captions are all part of the service. Where you have raw material such as product photos, footage or team pictures, that makes the content stronger and more authentic, so we will ask for it.

Will you reply to comments and messages?

Yes, community management is included. We handle general engagement and route genuine enquiries to you promptly, following response guidelines we agree with you.

How do you measure whether it is working?

We report on reach, engagement, growth and enquiries. We are also clear about what social realistically does for your business, which is often brand recognition and trust that pays off across other channels, not only direct sales.

Video Editing

Do you shoot video or only edit it?

Editing and post-production are our core service. We work with footage you supply, whether that is professionally shot material or content captured in-house. Where a project genuinely needs production, we will discuss the options with you.

What do you need from us to start?

The raw footage, any brand assets such as logo and fonts, and a clear sense of what the video is for and where it will run. If you have reference videos whose style you like, that helps us match expectations quickly.

How many revisions are included?

We agree a revision round structure up front so it is clear for both sides. Getting direction agreed before editing begins is what keeps revisions few and focused.

Can you repurpose one video into several pieces?

Yes, and it is usually one of the most efficient things you can do. A single interview or shoot can often yield a long-form piece plus a number of short-form clips, each cut properly for its placement.

Do you add captions?

Yes. Captions are standard on social edits. Most social video is watched on mute, so an uncaptioned video is effectively a silent one.

Graphic Design

Do you design logos and full brand identities?

Our focus is applied design, meaning the material a business publishes day to day, built on a coherent visual system. Where a brand needs identity foundations before that work can be consistent, we will discuss what is required rather than layering good design over an unclear brand.

Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. If you have guidelines we work within them. If they are incomplete or have drifted over time, we will point out the gaps and can help tighten them.

What file formats do we receive?

You receive correctly formatted exports for each intended use, plus source files. You own the assets we produce for you.

How quickly can graphics be turned around?

Routine graphics working from an established system are fast. New formats or concepts need more time because there is design thinking involved rather than application. We agree timelines per project so expectations are clear.

Can you create templates our team can edit?

Yes, and for most businesses this is worth doing. Templates for your recurring formats let your team produce on-brand graphics without a designer for every routine post.

Campaign Management

How is this different from just buying individual services?

Individual services deliver individual outputs. Campaign management is accountable for an outcome across all of them. The strategy, message, creative and measurement are handled as one piece of work, which is where most of the value is.

How long does a campaign run?

It depends on the objective. A product launch or seasonal promotion is time-bound. Lead generation usually runs continuously with defined review cycles. We agree the duration and review points during planning.

Do we need to use all your services for this?

No. The channel mix comes from what the objective requires, not from what we offer. If a campaign only needs paid advertising and a landing page, that is what we recommend.

How do you measure campaign success?

Against the objective agreed at the start, using measures defined before launch. That usually means enquiries, cost per lead and conversion rate rather than reach or impressions alone. We set this up before anything goes live so results are meaningful.

Can you take over a campaign already running?

Yes. We would start by reviewing what is running, what the tracking says and where the gaps are, then tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing, restructuring or rebuilding.
